The Healing Touch

Told by me, Marshall Dudley. The following were all witnessed by me. The people and healer wish to remain anonymous.

Gary was on the back of a motorcycle when a woman hit them head on several years earlier. He spent months in the hospital, and although most of his injuries had healed, he had a ruptured disk that caused him unending pain. Often it would be so bad that he would have to leave work early. A co-worker offered to see if he could help with hands on Christian healing and although Gary was not certain he believed it possible, he knew the doctors had told him there was nothing else they could do.

Every time his pain became too much, he went to the co-worker who put his hands on his back and prayed for his healing. The heat was intense, and after a minute or two the pain would subside. However, a few hours later it would return. He was discouraged that although the healing would work for a while, the pain would eventually return. However, over the next few weeks the pain took longer and longer to return, and was less and less severe. After 5 or 6 weeks the pain was gone for good.

Gary returned to the doctor for his periodical checkup. The doctor was astounded that the ruptured disk had healed! According to him, ruptured disks do not heal. When pressed for an explaination the doctor said the only possible explaination was that obviously there had been a mixup on his X-RAYS before (every time they took them) and that the file X-Ray's were of someone else. However Gary and I know the truth.

Ray was Gary's superviser. Even after seeing Gary's healing, he was skeptical. It was "against his religious teachings" to believe that healings could still happen today. However, he had had his knee shot off in the Vietnam War, and at times it would pain him considerably. It always had an acheing pain. One day when he was about to leave early because of the pain the co-worker who had been working with Gary stopped him and asked if he would like him to try and see if he could help. Ray said he did't believe in that type of thing, and that it could not work with him, because he had no faith, and healing requires faith. It was explained that he had enough faith for both of them, and to at least give it a try.

Ray finally agreed and sat down. Immediately after the hands were laid on him, Ray felt warmth surround his knee. Like a heating pad, but much deeper he said. Within 5 minutes the pain was totally gone. This was the first time the knee had been pain free since the late 60's, twenty years earlier. And the pain had not returned last time I spoke to Ray, several years later.

The days after Ray's healing were somewhat comical. Ray would be sitting at his desk shaking his head NO, and placing his hands on his knee. His belief system was so turned upside down that he was in a daze for days. When I asked what he was doing he would say he was trying to figure out where all the heat came from, since he could not feel it when he place his own hands on his knee. He eventually accepted it for what it was though.

Judy was in her early 50's and often had what is referred to as visual migranes. Unlike most migranes, there was no pain involved, but first she would see what looked like sharks teeth around her perpherial vision, then they would move closer in forming tunnel vision until she was totally blind. This would normally take from 15 to 30 minutes, then after a while the tunnel vision would come back and slowly widen out until her vision returned. Apparently this is not uncommon, and the doctors told her that there was absolutely nothing he or anyone could do for it, once it starts. All she could do is find a safe place, and wait until it passes. The doctor indicated that they always run the same course and never stop once they start without going through the entire sequence.

Judy was aware that one of her co-workers had been laying on hands to help others and one day when the migrane began, she sought him out before it had progressed to the second stage. It took less than a minute of prayer and laying on of hands to clear the migrane, without going through the other stages, something the doctors said was impossible. Any time she had one start at work, she found that it was easy to terminate through spiritual healing, with a 100% success rate.

Peggy was the head buyer for an electronic firm. She had a big job she was trying to get quoted and had a splitting headache. Asprin did not help, so she asked a co-worker she knew did hands on healing for some help. When he placed his hands on her head he felt a surge of energy go to a point on her forhead, under her hair. Since this was not consistant with the energy flow for a headache, he asked what the problem was at that point. She brushed her hair back and exposed a melanoma (skin cancer) and said that she had an appointment with her surgeon to have it removed the next day. The healer said, why don't we take care of it along wiht the headache, ok? The headache went away immediately (which was fully expected. I have seen dozens of headaches cured through spiritual healing with a 100% success rate). However the melanoma looked the same even though the healer said that he could feel no more problem with it.

The next day she came to work even though I was expecting her to be in surgery. She said that the doctor took one look at it and said it was gone, and that surgery was no longer needed. As far as I know it never returned.

One day when I returned from work, I found that our beatiful black cat was seriously ill. My son had taken him to the vet who found that he had been bitten in a fight, and had a serious case of blood poisoning. The doctor had given us some pills to give the cat, but said it would be a week before he would recover, and that there was a good chance he might die.

Well I wasn't about to let a member of our family die without a fight. Hands on healing was applied to the cat, and a very strong energy transfer was felt. After about 3 or 4 minutes the energy flow subsided, and when the hands were removed the cat got up, went into the kitchen drank some water then ate his cat food. Only minutes before he was so sick he could not lift his head.

This is one reason I know for a fact that the claims by doctors that this is a placebo effect is wrong. The cat had no idea what was happend, he only knew that he was suddenly ok, and very thirsty and hungry.

I have seen headaches, flu, pulled muscles, cancers and a host of other ailments healed in a matter of minutes by hands on healing. If fact I have seen a much higher success rate through spiritual healing of aliments than I have from people going to the doctor. At any rate I think one should use all the resources given by God for our healing and health, diet, medicines, doctors, and of course his faithful healers.
