I was dreaming that my mother was in The King Soopers (supermarket), in the meat department, but in my dream it was a hospital and my mother was dying. According to the doctors in my dream, there was a cure for her illness, but she did not want the cure. I awoke the next day very distraught and called my mother, who at that time was living with my oldest brother (Tres) and his wife (Nickey) in Clovis,NM. My brother and his wife were both in the AirForce at the time and my mother was a dependent of my brother.
I called my brother the next day and his wife answered the phone. I asked Nickey where mom was at and she told me that my mother was dropping my brother off at work. I thought this was odd, because they all had their own cars. Later on that day I was talking to my best freind of over 18 yrs. I told her about my dream and how worried I was over the dream and I had not spoke with my mother yet. While Lenisa was on the phone I called back to my brother's house in N.M. and this time he answered. I said where is Mom and he told me that she took Nickey to work.
That's when I exploded and told him about my dream, all the while Lenisa was on the three way listening in. I was all hysterical, telling him this is a bunch of shit , NOW WHERE IS MY MOTHER! Tres then revealed to me that our mother had tried to commit suicide last night. I was on the next bus out of Denver to N.M. that night. Although this vision was frightening, I am glad that that I share a certain connection with my mother, and that I was with her spritually during one of her darkest moments in life. It is now 16 years later and my mother now resides with me and my family to share out the last days of her life. I THANK GOD EVERYDAY FOR THIS PRIVILEGE!
